The biggest benefit of MECA is the internships. Not only are we paid but also learning new things that can help you in any career you are interested in.

I absolutely adore how welcoming and loving MECA’s staff and students are. Our students show a passion for learning and growing as individuals, developing themselves socially, emotionally, and academically. My favorite parts of the day include greeting and interacting with our wonderful students and staff.

MECA not only instilled a sense of belonging from day one with incredible teachers and immersive programs, but it gave me the tools and resources to succeed both academically and professionally through academic partners like BMCC and industry partners like the 4A's. I have a sense of where I want to be in the future because of MECA. The world is constantly changing-MECA prepares you to be a part of that change.

MECA has given me a new sense of purpose. It never occurred to me that my advertising experience would give me the opportunity to return to teaching high school students. I will always be grateful for the role this school has played in my journey and for the connections to the students that it has allowed me.
